See other posts in this thread for more impressions and info.
Sculpted in 3D-Coat, retopologized in Blender, rendered using the Cycles renderer, post-processed using PhotoScape X Pro.
Inspired by a Cy L character concept.
An extremely fast walk through of the solo in SF this summer. Doubleplus good artwise.

This monument, designed by Rachel Whiteread, is the memorial to the Holocaust in Vienna.
As much of Europe lurches ever-further to the right, and Trump takes the reins of power in the US, we should frequently remind ourselves where fascism ultimately leads.
Following my 1990s artwork for "Jacco's Healing Session" (see previous post in this thread), I made this black and white CD cover illustration with the same theme.
Sculptures of Love (top), Faith (lower left) and Hope (lower right) on the 1899 Art Nouveau style Hall of Saint Andrew's East Church on Alexandra Parade in Glasgow. Between the three figures is an inscription which says "Greatest of these is love", a sentiment that's as true today as it was when it was carved.

Love these Classical style tenement doors on La Belle Place in Glasgow. These tenements were designed by Charles Wilson and were built in 1857. The sculpted semi-circular shell patterns above the doors are particularly impressive.

So today I'll cheat and post one of my favourite images ever.
A sculpture I modelled long ago in Softimage XSI with subdivision surfaces and then tried to UV-unwrap generatively...
...which went beautifully wrong, the checkerboard grid was deformed into a fantastic pattern.
I have this hanging on my wall as a large print.
Omega E6
Abandoned lab discovery.
Intact, functioning.
Comms: Trying to establish.
Notes: A Omega group node. One successful consciousness transfer prior to being overrun.
Love these sculpted and ornate corbels on an 1850s French Renaissance style townhouse on Park Terrace in the West End of Glasgow.

Aaand Yet another zombie sculpture update. Getting tired yet
Ported mister handsome over to Blender, retopologized the meshes, and added a lush head of hair.
I think he's all set for materials, lighting and rendering with Cycles now.
Zombie sculpture update
Added a tongue, gums and some beautiful teeth. Maybe I'll add some lost hair strands, then port the model over to Blender for lighting, materials and rendering.
More updates will follow.

One of the two lions on the Cenotaph in Glasgow's George Square. It was created in the 1920s to remember those who died during World War I. It was designed by the architect J.J. Burnet, while the sculptures, including the lions, were created by Ernest Gillick.
