I was so busy with commercial and artist neon fabrication work, that I put off my own art stuff for a few weeks, Now I am busy with art stuff while neon jobs creep back in.
My long winded way of saying, I haven't had the time to share some things I have been working on here, but more posts soon!
While I am working tomorrow at Urbanglass in Downtown Brooklyn helping people make glass eggs, I wanted to offer anyone in NYC to borrow the No Kings or Antifa neon necklaces for the weekend/ week. In case there was something that people wanted to go to, and display anti facist or No Kings for people to see.
I have battery powered transformers and rechargeable batteries that power them. Just leave something of value to you if your going to borrow them so we can meet back up later next week to exchange them back.
DM me to arrange a meetup at prospect Park/ Grand Army Plaza or Urbanglass tomorrow morning or even as soon as this Friday evening.

Hi this is Cookie! I have worked as a technician in various art studios and for the past ten years. For longer than that I have made art and music. I have also done a lot of work in including performative workshops. I run an Open Source at u of toronto.
Currently I am working on a project called Exodus Big Techius: Root to leaving Google/Apple/Microsoft for the Collective Open Source. My other current focus is prepping for where I will be exhibiting a sound and a new art book.
For fun, I'm very into and am a member of the local spinner and weavers guild. I love hiking and native pollinator gardening. I am planning to learn and the bass clarinet this summer. I love anachronisms, synchronicities, and . I wonder about becoming a shepherd or lighthouse keeper.
Here's a photo of something swampy I knit that I feel speaks to my personality :)
