A triceratops skull (or rather a replica of one) in the walled garden of Pollok Country House. This is one of a series of dinosaur bone sculptures hidden here amongst the trees and bushes, jist waiting for kids to discover them.

Avec la porcelaine, Vanessa Hogge sculpte des ptales si fins quon croirait entendre leur silence. Une fragilit matrise, une lgance qui tient debout comme un haku devenu matire.

Artrocity Studio presents Centaur Ken and Centauride Barbie. Ken sports a broadsword, while Barbie has a bow with arrows. They seem quite happy with each other one wonders if someday there might be a colt...
To create this project I cut the heads off hard plastic horses I bought at a thrift store, and I broke the legs off the dolls (also thift store finds). I then used an adjustable heat gun set to 550 degrees Fahrenheit to soften the hard plastic to mold it around the doll torsos. I used leather gloves to protect my hands from the heat, as well as safety goggles and a respirator for protection from any chemical fumes released by the heat. I used super glue to fix the torsos in place to the horse bodies. This took about an hour to accomplish.
Finally, I used paper mache to create tunics for both torsos. The broadsword and scabbard are all cardboard. Barbie's bow and quiver are also cardboard. The arrows are toothpicks trimmed and glued together. Painted with acrylic paint. The tunics, weapons, and painting took about a week to complete.

Predominantly sculpted in 3D-Coat, finalized and rendered in Blender.
"What interests me is not so much the permanence of the object, but rather the process and lifecycle of the work: taking from nature, creating, and finally allowing nature to reclaim the creation."
Using local materials artist Roldolfo Liprandi's sculptures, which are made from trimmed branches, of animals and imaginary creatures such as dragons and elves, dwell in forest lands and then return to them.

This is one of my favourite sculptures. I'm very fond of bronze sculptures. At Repslagargatan in Stockholm.

The four sisters.Carved in African Sandlewood. Only the faces have precisely carved features.
The base is infinished except for the removal of bark
Carved in Mozambique they are sold by souvenir vendors at many of the South African Tourist spots.
This carving is slightly unusual in that the heads have head scarves. In this example one of the heads does not have a head scarf. The missing head scarf is probably a mischance.

Homage to Shipbuilding in Bellahouston Park in Glasgow. Installed in 2005, it was designed by Jimmy Cosgrove and constructed by Hector McGarva. It shows a shipyard worker on one side and his dog on the other. Only part of the inscription can be seen from this angle, but in whole it reads: Celebrate those who made the Clyde great.
