Working on sculpting a lion character drawn by a friend of mine, Pieter Hogenbirk. We worked in an animation studio in the heart of Amsterdam.
There's still a lot of sculpting to be done, including his hands.

With all the tariffs an trade wars in prospect this ship turned from cargo to light vessel.
This piece consists of ten different parts the ships hull, a wheelhouse and eight containers. Giving endless possibilities in the setup of this lamp.

Je suis alle sur fb pour rcuprer les photos officielles du symposium de Drummondville. J'ai termin de supprimer mes posts l bas. Meta australie a annonc qu'elle utiliserait les donnes pour entraner leur IA. Pas envie d'alimenter la machine.
J'ai aussi supprim mon compte bs, je n'y allais pas. Je reste sur fb pour les pages de symposiums mais en mme temps, je dteste aller l maintenant. C'est devenu un gros dpotoir.

Working on these today: the result of the flowers I sculpted. Nicely translucent!
There are still quite a few parts left to sculpt for this one, but its already looking nice. I might have to take a drill to make the back side bigger though - the LED doesn't quite fit anymore. A spooky thing to do with something so fragile... ah well!

The mirror man is back on the shores of the loch, he was removed for a few years - not sure why..
Sadly it was a grey day else he would have shone and looked even more alien like.

Ivory billed woodpecker sculpt I made in Zbrush. The model features detailed feather and skin texturing along the model. I created two variants of the model, standing and posed.I love this sculpture by Francis Derwent Wood on 'The Hatrack' on St Vincent Street in Glasgow. It's officially described as a goat-head, but it seems more anthropomorphic than that to me.

My oh my, The Mind Benders class I taught at FOCI wrapped up last night and what a wonderful whirlwind! I had the most amazing students who time and time again, were so hungry for knowledge, and wanted to learn more and more.
We learned to bend neon, make digital vector patterns, blink the neon with programmable microcontrollers and I even showed them how they could work with a glassblower to pull their own tubes.
My TA, was incredible- typically fulfilling the class's needs before I even asked her. I am thrilled that she learned a bunch in the class.
It was able to train two FOCI staff members to bombard (the dangerous process of purifying and putting gas in the tubes)- so now FOCI neon renters can get their tubes filled quicker.
The artist talk and demo I gave was well attended, and now FOCI has the doodle I made during the demo in their permanent collection.
