Weekend Factoid
There is a giant, vibrantly blue, 9 meter tall, 20 tonne interactive celebrating stromatolites (fossil cyanobacteria) in Cornwall, England. The Eden Project houses this fantastic piece of art by Azusa Murakami and Alexander Groves called "infinity blue" made of local clay to celebrate how transformed the Earth's early atmosphere by forming oxygen through photosynthesis (represented as huge vapour rings).

Salut,
Voici mon manchot!
I have been a very busy little bee this week working on some new pieces for a very exciting order. I'll let you all know where they are heading soon. X

I made a Horsey Marcheschi and a nice brown circle today... well technically its a few days in the making, as I also pulled the glass and mixed the phosphor and poured it in an all.
These are new colors. Totally custom! I really should start taking better notes- its just tricky when people have a bin of different colors of bar for free- who knows what is what I guess photo journal.
Now I really want a silver and gold version of this- making amber and pink respectively. I think I also want another funnel- I think I am getting cross contamination.
I am thrilled, and so is Ali. I think we are gonna blow glass on Monday and I shall help her make some carafes and trophies and things and she will pull some tubes with me! I am excited!
I guess I should just go ahead and coat a bunch of tubes to bake out. I shall use the mixes while they are good.

New sculpt session with Caleb from BAMG.Yesterday I posted pictures of a pwakawaka or fantail that was following me as I worked in the orchard, disturbing insects that he was happily eating and gaining weight for the winter. Here is a metalbird art fantail also at Beau Vista orchard guarding the lawns. I rather like the use of metal in the art as bird's call is an almost metallic cheek, either as a single sound or (more often) repeated as a chattering.

Brandenburger TorI've always been intrigued by what looks like an old keystone grotesque incorporated into this 21st century building on High Street in Glasgow. I've yet to be able to find out anything about its history. It does, however, bear similarities to some of the Tontine Heads now house in St Nicholas Garden just a bit further north on Castle Street.
Mario exported perfectly from SDF Modeler to Blender. He's ready for a Blender rendering. Probably Cycles, but I think I'll try to install the revived LuxCoreRender first

"Jugando, cuento"
Mertxe Sueskun.

This project is an attempt to incorporate a veiled reference to an old work into a form borrowed from the scientific domain. It's conceived as a message in a bottle with an encrypted content that essentially provides instructions for the bottle itself.
