Had it been otherwise, we might have hailed these sculptural expressions as by surely a great figure among moderns.' -- from 'Last Light: How Six Great Artists Made Old Age a Time of Triumph' by Richard Lacayo

The robot face has become a head.

I guess modeling is finished. Maybe some last minor tweaks, then move on to colors, materials, lighting and rendering.

The final rendering will follow tomorrow.

Texas SandFest is the largest native-sand beach sculpture festival in the USA! That means that the artist use sand that is only on the beach none of it is carted in. This is in Port Aransas, not far from Corpus Christi.

I love the little dragons hidden in the stonework inside Govan Old Parish Church (and there's one on the outside, too!). Designed by Rowand Anderson, it was built in the 1880s.

If my MagicaCSG modeling posts have attracted your interest in the SDF modeling method, you might like to have a look at Womp, a free online SDF editor (with a "Pro" subscription option).

I've just played with it for a few minutes, and you can export your scene as an OBJ file, complete with textures for recreating the Womp materials in Blender, as you can see in the screenshot.
