As you can see, SDF Modeling mainly exists of cutting and blending primitive shapes. SDF Modeler includes multiple iterations of nested shapes, for complex compound Booleans.

It's an interesting exploration of possible shapes in SDF Modeler. Grouped primitives for compound Booleans are definitely essential here.

Managed to mold "butt-face" (see previous post) into something more presentable.
Yes, he currently looks a bit like an Easter Island head, I know.
SDF Modeler doesn't have as many shape options as MagicaCSG yet, so it's a challenging puzzle to achieve the right forms, but I think I'll get it where I want it to be, eventually.

When you've started SDF-modeling a head, a duplicated sphere turns out to be way too large, and you're suddenly looking at butt-face.
More updates will follow in this thread, if I manage to change butt-face into something worth sharing.
Last week I paid a visit to Andy Goldsworthy's Prairie Cairn. I was on a botanical tour of the prairie area, and I think I was the only one who stopped and looked at the art.

From this day in 2022 and our first visit to Oslo where we started with a walk around Vigeland (or Frogner) Park. A wealth of sculptures first in bronze then in stone were a feast for the eyes. Pictured is the famous Angry Boy, modelled after a child throwing a tantrum spotted on a trip to England by the sculptor Gustav Vigeland.
It's also one if the last examples of traditional three-dimensional sculptures on a Glasgow building. By the 1920s, most architectural sculptural work had shifted towards using reliefs, and by the end of the 1930s, architectural sculptures had pretty much disappeared altogether, although some later examples do exist. Personally, it's something I'd like to see brought back to help make modern buildings more distinctive and individual.
Neptune over the door of 177 Trongate in Glasgow. The building was designed by Frank Burnet and Boston and was built in 1925. The sculptor is unknown. I absolutely love the level of detail on this statue.

Mama Rosa - new Thomas Dambo troll out in Wauwatosa.Susan and I voted in the Irving city council run-off election. Afterwards, I photographed this sculpture, Goddess of the Golden Thighs by Reuben Nakian. It's an issue in the election because a christian nationalist PAC trying to take over the city council decided it was obscene.
They already want to censor LGBTQ books at the library and may be targeting artwork next. Sadly, we're sliding into religious authoritarianism at the national, state, and local level
