The Riverbank Love Knot is a stainless steel public art installation in Adelaide, Australia, located in Park 12 near the University Footbridge, designed by Mulloway Studio and unveiled on Valentine's Day 2018 to provide a dedicated spot for couples to attach "love locks" and symbolize enduring love, offering an alternative to placing them on the nearby footbridge. The intertwined knot design represents unbreakable binding and eternal fidelity.

Riverbank Love Knot 3, Adelaide, Australiaan unbelievably long time ago, in the prehistoric, pre-google times of the internet around 2003 or so, I paid for a customized toy of a somewhat "historically accurate" - with a lion's tail, cloven hooves and not so horselike features like deer ears and a goat beard. it sat on my shelf for 20 years or so and over time, it accumulated a lot of grime and dust and turned yellow and gross. don't ask me for the name of the original modder, I couldn't tell you anymore after all these years.
i felt too nostalgic over it to throw it away, so I googled some MLP customization guides AND FOUND NOTHING. adding this for the irony that this unicorn toy was born in pre-google times and lived long enough to see google turn into a useless husk of itself.
anyways, this is my own take on an "accurate" MLP unicorn. contrary to the first mod, i did not use doll hair, but air-drying clay for everything, such as the mane, tail, ears and horn. painted with acrylics and pearlescent nail polish, then added too many pearly plastic-things. hooves shaped by cutting away at the original plastic.
i couldn't avoid the tail breaking in a few places, oh well. the worst part was painting the eyes. absolute horror. wouldn't recommend.

I don't know how long or how hot. 'Cause time, or heat, won't mean much, if I even come out at all. You can call me Clay. If I haven't cracked, that is. And I am still around.

Je suis trs consciente que les temps sont durs et que mme si les gens aiment ce que je fais, a reste assez cher juste parce que a me cote cher.
J'ai commenc cette anne faire des choses plus petites ou encore utiles comme des chandeliers. J'adore jouer avec la lumire ! 3 autres partis pour une autre vie...

Du volume aujourd'hui. 2eme version de la porte des enfers, je vous mettrai la 1ere aprs mais je pense que la 3eme sera la bonne (faut encore la faire...) avec un mix entre le dcoupage de la gueule et le mouvement + intressant de la premire.

A 19-year-old woman appears in court via telephone accused of damaging Mount Gambier's Cast in Blue sculpture, which has drawn criticism for its cost and appearance.

This year I can check a thing off of my Art Career bucket list,
I am finally a part of Art Basel Miami in some capacity! CAMP gallery has some of my work at their brick an mortar space in Miami and they are doing a show that runs during SCOPE, a weeklong art fair in Miami that happens during Basel.
So its a satellite of a satellite but that counts in my book :). The gallerist was worried that there wouldnt be wall space, but that is just fine an dandy by me as I prefer the wide open pedestals. They dont love the wires and transformers that I typically include in the open, an I have been loving the cloudy effect that Ali's sheeps wool brings. So I made a little demo video of this piece I have in NYC and one of my new weblink transformers.
They do have some neat pieces of mine down there.

The Youtube algorithm recently got me hooked on videos about making SciFi spaceship miniature models, dioramas, kitbashing, movie prop building, practical effects and sculpting weird aliens, monsters and kaiju from plastic toys and garbage. And I love it!
Now I wonder who on mastodon I can follow, to see more this beautiful weird type of art in my feed.
