The Big Elk, also known as (meaning "big elk" in Norwegian), is the world's second-tallest sculpture of an elk/moose (Alces alces). It is near the village of Atna in Stor-Elvdal, Hedmark, Norway. It held the title of the tallest moose sculpture for 4 years, from its completion in October 2015 until October 2019 - on our way back to Larvik we finally made it to this great sculpture close to National Road 3.

Under this tree are two couples on their wedding day, one dressed in 18th century clothes (presumably reflecting the date the house was originally built) and one dressed in 1970s clothes (presumably reflecting the date it was restored). This may represent the many generations which have lived within this cottage.
Love this relatively modern date plaque on a restored terraced house on Kirk Road in the village of Carmunnock in the far south of Glasgow.
It features a tree-of-life motif, which represents wisdom, strength and long life in Celtic cultures and can be found on Pictish standing stones from more than 1,000 years ago.
