Lining the top of the two outer pavilions, each caryatid is unique and holds an item relates to the arts or the sciences. Between them are carved the names musicians, artists and scientists.

William Mossman Junior's set of eight caryatids on the surviving facade of the 1870s St Andrew's Halls in Glasgow. Designed by James Sellars, this was a large concert and function venue. It was taken over by the Glasgow Corporation in 1889, and burned down in 1962, with only the western facade being saved, and later incorporated into an extension of the neighbouring Mitchel Library.

NATO star moves to new headquarters
The beginning of my latest sculpting project. Made using Crayola mold magic.
So far, I have the main body. I'm hoping to add some hair, and a leotard in order to make it a proper gymnast sculpture.
Not going to lie, I feel kind of ripped off. The variety pack I bought the other day came with one really large glob of red, one large glob of blue, and four teeny tiny globs of yellow, green, black, and white.
I hope this figure turns out okay. I feel like I could have added more detail if I had more clay to work with. In particular, I could have given it a face, maybe some more detailed hands and feet, etc.
I'm also not thrilled with the fact that the abdomen is as long as it is, but it's too late to fix now.
I'll probably give my final verdict of mold magic when I finished everything, but for now, I'd say it's okay.

Amazing trip yesterday to see Calders Circus at The Whitney!
Highlights the sword swallower, the amazing smoking guy in my second picture, and getting to witness an entire recording of Calders fantastic performance. He has such a serious yet playful way about him, so endearing!
The exhibit is available till March 9th, I would STRONGLY suggest you visit if you can get to NYC!
