Saw this excellent exhibition yesterday it closes soon. Theres also a video interview with artist, Marita Dingus, including her move to incorporating repouss techniques for the faces. Inspiring ingenuity with ancient technology meld form and matter in Ancient Ones.

Sculpture Zum Thema Mensch und Buch habe ich fnf Skulpturen geschaffen, die auf metaphorische Weise den lesenden Menschen bildnerisch darstellt.

Beautiful, cool driftwood sculpture by Debra Bernier

Curled round the top of a hill, this Celtic Dragon watches over Irvine Beach on the Clyde Coast about 45 minutes drive from Glasgow. Designed by Anthony Vogt and sculpted by Roy Fitzsimmons, Irvine's one-time Artist-in-Residence, it was created in the 1980s using recycled red sandstone. At six feet high and 120 feet long, it's one of the largest sculptures of its type on Scotland, and visiting it makes for a great trip out from the city on sunny days like today.
