Believe it or not, this isn't the only copy of this ancient Greek building in Glasgow. There'a another on the cupola the top of the old Athenaeum Theatre on Buchanan Street.

It's time, I have my Lamb Sculpt ready and painted (It was ready earlier but I am a little chaotic with social media). It began like a experiment, a project to develop a figure through sculpting, preparing the files, printing on a FDM printer, sanding, priming and finally painting (I also had to learn a little of Darktable to adjust the photos).

The octagonal chimney of the former Prince's Dock Hydraulic Pumping Station on the south bank of the Clyde in Glasgow. It's shape and the decorative freize around the top appear to be based on the Tower of the Winds in the Roman Agora in Athens, which dates back to at least 50 BC. The chimney was originally 172 feet tall, but was cut down to just 55 feet in 1927.
I love this Art Nouveau style version of the Glasgow Coat of Arms on one of the buildings of the old Lambhill Street School in the Kinning Park area of the city.

My dad was something of a collector, so I have inherited this. Luckily I had somewhere to park it, after hauling it a few hundred km in my trailer. I like to think of it a a larger-than-life atom. It is made of old farm machinery, and a central rock. I don't know the artist's name, but perhaps I'll find it.

The main body of this cathedral like structure has a transitional surface composed from an arrangement of multiple geometric shapes.
Recessed surfaces and open voids between the three main ribs guide light right out of Silos hart.
