"Hear, O divine queen, light-bringing and splendid ,
Bull-horned traversing the air in a race with night.
Nocturnal, torch-bearing, maiden of fair stars,
Moon waxing and waning, feminine and masculine,
Glittering lover of horses, mother of time, bearer of fruit."

Recently finished a pottery class at the local community centre. Just picked them up now that they are fired and they came out great!
These are definitely my two favourite pieces. Never would have thought I could make something like this when I first started the class.
Love working with clay, and hope to do another class later in the year.
Highly recommend looking into your local city community centre! In this case it was in
Hope everyone is having a lovely - I spent the day driving and visiting an old friend.

"Matt Demon" progress
Detailing the facial flesh has started. I'm using the experimental Brush Assets Project build of Blender, and I like the UI of brush icons at the bottom, in stead of using hotkeys.
Statue of a sorrowful female figure resting her head on her hand, leaning on a column with a weathered patina, set against an ornate, aged background. Processed in black and white.

I think we're getting somewhere. Say hello to Mister Demon-in-progress.
Maybe I'll call him "Matt Demon".

The town hall was taken over by the Tontine Society in 1781 and turned into the Tontine Hotel. It was at this point the masks gained their nickname. They are currently housed in the Saint Nicholas Garden behind the Provand's Lordship on High Street.
The four oldest of Glasgow's thirteen Tontine Heads. Sculpted by David and James Cation between 1737 and 1742, they originally adorned keystones of arches in Allan Dreghorn's Town Hall at Glasgow Cross.
For some reason, the top left one always reminds me of Robbie Coltrane as Danny in the 1980s TV series Tutti Frutti. I think it's the hair.
