Statue of a sorrowful female figure resting her head on her hand, leaning on a column with a weathered patina, set against an ornate, aged background. Processed in black and white.

More "Matt Demon" updates will follow tomorrow.
See other posts in this thread for more WIPs.
I think we're getting somewhere. Say hello to Mister Demon-in-progress.
Maybe I'll call him "Matt Demon".
See previous WIPs here:
The town hall was taken over by the Tontine Society in 1781 and turned into the Tontine Hotel. It was at this point the masks gained their nickname. They are currently housed in the Saint Nicholas Garden behind the Provand's Lordship on High Street.
The four oldest of Glasgow's thirteen Tontine Heads. Sculpted by David and James Cation between 1737 and 1742, they originally adorned keystones of arches in Allan Dreghorn's Town Hall at Glasgow Cross.
For some reason, the top left one always reminds me of Robbie Coltrane as Danny in the 1980s TV series Tutti Frutti. I think it's the hair.

And then there's this scorpion monster.
This Manspider is also very, er, nice.
Looks like I'm not the only one who likes trees with eyeballs.
Made another Eclipsed Flat Sun today! Ok, it still isn't perfect, but it isn't sloppy- and that means its good enough to send to Miami!
Speaking of which, I am in this show with CAMP galley. They put my stuff on and some other sites and they are having a show that is getting a few of my pieces down there. Yes, that Italian glass xenon rainbow of cool tones will be there- and this Flat Sun and more!
#524 Mary Martin - A Wayward Genius: Neville Northy Burnard, Cornish Sculptor, 1818-1878 - A Study. Lodenek Press, Padstow, 1978, 1st edition.
A wonderfully detailed sculpture of Justitia, the Roman personification of Justice, by James Young on William Leiper's 1872 Partick Burgh Halls in Glasgow.
More updated pics of my William The Worm From Labyrinth sculpture. I did a bunch more work to the background. Next is to make the mold.
Sculpting in Blender again, after months of using only MagicaCSG.
Switching tools after a long while requires readjusting to the different 3D viewport navigation controls. But muscle memory fixes that swiftly, and I quite enjoy mesh sculpting again, after lots of modeling with SDF primitives.
Updates will follow tomorrow.

I would usually leave these on the form until they were dry, but the wind was threatening to send them flying.
Downtown LA art.
Its so cool that a thing that we see hanging on a wall, that seems like it is an object, its in a frame, it has been placed there, we can stand and look at it, that that thing can also at the same time, be moving around.

Kacie Lees was around yesterday when I was fixing this up and called it a croissant- with its flat side, I agree! Finally- I got one! I thought it was leaking again- but it cleaned up. The usual turquoise staining drifted to the pink this time on its way out.
This spiral uses scraps of the You Are Magic collaboration with Alicia Eggert. So its an Eclipsed Magic Rainbow Croissant! Yeah its a little sloppy, but I wanna make another with fun colors :)
