En hiver je commence rarememt de trs longs projets. Je pense que ma passion pour faire des chandeliers champignons est aussi grande que les papillons. J'aime les ombres que la chandelle projette au mur. J'aime faire ces petites mises en scne de la vie ordinaire. On dirait que a me rapproche de la vraie vie, celle qui est bien relle, concrte et qui est si belle !

Sa renomme est aujourdhui telle quelle pourrait laisser croire, tort, quelle tait la seule femme sculpteur de son poque. Bien d'autres ont suivi le mme chemin quelle et, malgr les obstacles lis leur condition de femme, se sont illustres dans le domaine de la sculpture.

Ive been making sculptures for public placement for nearly 3 decades. Over those years, Ive also made paintings, furniture, graphic designs, and digital artworks. So many different areas of interest are probably due to some undiagnosed neuro-spiciness. Or, its just that I like making stuff. Love to see what other people are making, too. Show me!

A swan singing to the lyre of Apollo on the 1850s Queen's Halls on La Belle Place in Glasgow. In Greek mythology, swans were often associated with Apollo, and through him with music and poetry. This makes it the perfect piece of symbolism for a building intended to be a home for the arts in the west of the city.

Day 4 of YMIR install.
I took the A to work to remake the A in "ARE". While there I helped fix Patrick's Neon Man Speech switch (for a play). The cheap this or that switches they get off amazon get too much bounce to them to be reliable after a few minutes of speech. So I whipped up a CD40106 oscillator to turn a single pole rugged switch I had into a "mouth is open OR closed" controller. Patrick requested that the packaging be tape- Not gonna argue with that
Alicia an I got Your Magic Is Real all installed just as people were walking in for an event. We had to call Jason last minute to debug "AGIC" not working- just some loose connectors. One of the largest ongoing collaborative projects I am a part has made it to Brooklyn! Gonna cover the back wall in vinyl tomorrow for double mirror :)
