The animals are coming! This particular group of animals are full-size puppets traveling from the Congo Basin up to the Arctic Circle in Scandinavia interacting with the local communities they visit, and as they head north they're gathering other kinds of animals on their way to graphically show that as the climate catastrophe worsens, animals (among others), must move to have any chance of survival.

This winged figure high on a building above Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow is called Harmony. It was created by James Alexander Ewing in the 1890s. If you think you've seen a similar figure elsewhere in the city, you're right, Ewing also sculpted the Spirit of Commerce and Industry, also known as the Angel of the South, at Paisley Road Toll.

Question for all you creatives and artists and jewelry types out there...I am allergic to gold & silver, but I love so many ring designs that are made in those materials. I need a surgical/medical grade stainless steel, titanium, carbon fiber...you get the idea. No gold, copper, silver, nickel, rhodium.
I understand this limits designs (gold is easy to work cause it's soft, and silver I think people can even pour into moulds) but surely someone makes something like these in materials I could actually wear, right!
Literally the closest I can find is an Enso ring from the LOTR collection, but I am not wanting a silicon ring. I also do not like resin rings, they are too "tall" off the finger and thus hurt to wear.
(PS: no, i cannot just coat the back in clear nail polish or something - a) that wears off and b) a ring touches other fingers, so the entire thing would need to be coated)
