Ajd je vous prsente mon premier papillon. Je n'avais pas le compas dans l'oeil disons. Je ne mesurais pas bien les proportions au dbut ce qui fait que je faisais de trs grandes sculptures ... celui-ci est facile car il peut se dmonter en 5 parties mais il reste trs grand. Je l'aime bien avec cette petite neige qui le recouvre.

The gigantic hand of Emperor Constantine is one of the iconic motifs in Rome. Originally, this hand belonged to a monumental sculpture of the emperor that was erected in the Basilica of Maxentius at the beginning of the Roman Forum. In addition to the hand, the head, feet and some fragments of the legs and arms have survived. They are all on display in an inner courtyard of the Capitoline Palaces. It's all great. But I was particularly taken with the hand with the index finger stretched out towards nothing.

J'en profite pour vous montrer ce papillon que j'ai fait pour prvenir les oiseaux de se frapper cette fentre qui est problmatique pour eux. a fonctionne bien pour empcher les oiseaux mais la neige qui tombe du toit a fait baisser les ailes du haut. Je devrai les ajuster pour l'hiver prochain. Je suis en train d'en faire pour toutes mes fentres problme.

This marble sculpture of a hermaphrodite probably comes from an ancient Roman garden. Most of the sculptures we know from the Roman world were set up there anyway. What a pleasant surprise it must have been for the viewer when the apparently female body turns into an ambiguous body on closer inspection. What idea of sexuality was triggered I sculpted this magnet for my wifes company. I then 3D printed these and made magnets. Sixty.
