A large "Yoga Narasimha" installation at Widyaa-Waarinidhi Theertha Guest House, Udupi . It seems this has been at this spot forever, but I noticed it only last night. (The wavy light strips behind create a moving effect.)
The sculpture is modeled after the main deity of Kaniyooru Matha (which owns the guest house).
PS: I don't know in which order your client shows the sculpture and the quoted post, but to clarify: The large bronze sculpture under lights is the object of this post (and I took that picture last night). The picture of a similar but much smaller sculpture with red flowers around belongs to the quoted post (which I posted 3 months ago).

Today's images come to us from an artist new to this venue. Lee Bontecu (1931-2022) was an American sculptor and print artist whose abstract work had strong overtones of grimness, war, and industry. She was heavily influenced by World War II and the cold war. Her pieces were abstract, involving lots of metal (she was an accomplished welder) often forming frames over which she stretched canvas. FABRE - The Man Who Bears the Cross
A sculpture of three merchants set into an internal wall of the 1870s Merchants' House on George Square in Glasgow. This sculpture is reputed to have come from the original Merchants' Guild Hall and Hospital on Bridgegate, which was built 1659 and demolished in 1817, leaving just the Merchants' Steeple still standing.

Remembered that I had not been to the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle in a long time to see whatever changing art was on display. Paid a visit and was glad that "A Procession of Northwest Visual Artists" by Patti Warashina was still on display. This ceramic art from 1986 never gets old, because it's so inspired and enjoyable. And I know practically nothing about the people represented here.

I got the phosphor and brown doodle I made friday out of the oven yesterday. Not a clean pump. It did clean up however after running for about an hour with a neon fill. I sucked that out and I tried to fill it with the 75/25 Ne Ar blend afterwards and it is just looking airy- the peachy color seen in all the big phosphor tubes.
I took it off the pump and out of the kiln and set it aside. If it has a leak- it will slowly return to atmospheric pressure and wont light when I try to turn it on tomorrow. If it lights, then i will see if it will clean up on its own. I guess I could bake it out again in the oven and just repump it. I definitely dont wanna add the mercury until its looking lavender and blue.
Pumping out of a kiln can make neat results.... but so often takes forever and is annoying compared to bombarding.

Although my hotel in Stockholm was near the Central Station, and thus convenient for those times I did use public transport, I chose to get to the places I wanted to see by walking, always the best way to see a city.
The joy of being amongst others in streets, squares, and gardens, of passing shop windows, signs on buildings telling a little of their history, crowded bars offering "after work" specials, abundant public seating in parks and places over looking the water, doorways, architectural details, public art...I was particularly taken with this fountain in the stermalm district. It dates from 1921 and the sculptor was Carl Eldh, who also created statuary for the garden of the City Hall.
I should sound one cautionary note about getting around in Stockholm. A quick glance at a street map or Google might not be enough to tell you about steep hills and climbs in the city. For example, my visit to the delightful Sdermalm district required me to ascend some long and steep flights of steps. Some visitors will need to plan carefully with these relief challenges in mind.
