Philadelphia's newest museum, Calder Gardens, is a must visit. Don't forget to stop and smell, too (seriously!)

trs bientt !

I recently bought a number of postcards in a 2nd-hand shop (of megaliths mainly). This one caught my eye - 'Fete De Bacchus', a bas relief in a French cave showing much frolicking round a herm. A little more can be learned of it through the magic of Google.
Here is a photograph I took this morning in Powerscourt Estate of a sculpture known as Apollo Belvedere which was purchased by the 6th Viscount of Powerscourt Richard Wingfield (18 January 1815 11 August 1844).

Started a new little Blender sculpture.
I've got a hunch it's going to be alright.
New pendant I've made. Bird is carved from boxwood, the branch is bubinga, and the leaves are boxwood as well, mounted to an ebony blackwood base. Available from my Etsy shop (UK only).
