Philadelphia's newest museum, Calder Gardens, is a must visit. Don't forget to stop and smell, too (seriously!)

Vendredi soir se tenait le vernissage du Salon des Arts de Taverny. Je suis trs honore d'y avoir reu le 1er prix de sculpture et la jolie mdaille d'or de la ville de Taverny. "Alba" y a t mise l'honneur, entoure de 3 autres de mes sculptures en bronzes (ralises avec la Fonderie Avangini).
L'exposition est ouverte tous les aprs-midis jusqu'au 28 septembre.
J'y serai vendredi et dimanche prochain en fin d'aprs-midi

I recently bought a number of postcards in a 2nd-hand shop (of megaliths mainly). This one caught my eye - 'Fete De Bacchus', a bas relief in a French cave showing much frolicking round a herm. A little more can be learned of it through the magic of Google.

Here is a photograph I took this morning in Powerscourt Estate of a sculpture known as Apollo Belvedere which was purchased by the 6th Viscount of Powerscourt Richard Wingfield (18 January 1815 11 August 1844).

One of the rather wonderful stone lions at the Georgian era Pollok House in Glasgow against this mornings pure blue sky.

Hand model update. Enjoying some good old-fashioned polygon subdivision + modifiers modeling. It's been a while. SDF modeling had grabbed my full attention for quite a while now.
