All my projects are casted in reclaimed and recycled foam found in my neighborhood in Thailand. From discarded packaging to dumped ice boxes in nature, usable foam planks and blocs are cut. This helps cleaning up the environment and no new produced foam is necessary for my projects.

Morning at the West terrace and docks of the East Baray
The East Baray was a water reservoir built early in the Khmer Empire after the relocation of the capital to modern day Angkor Thom.
Today Yasodharatataka, East Baray in Khmer, is a dried-out water basin. It is mostly taken over by the jungle but with some rice paddocks and vegetable and fruit farming.
Slightly smaller than the still existing and large man-made construction West Baray, East Baray was 2 km wide and 7 km long. With a depth of 3 meter, it contained 50 million cubic meters of water.
East Baray is due east of Victory gate and the Elephant terrace in front of the Royal Palace of Angkor Thom. The docks and terrace on the West side is the remains of the important entrance to the west, close to the core area of the Khmer Imperial Capital. Its importance can be traced by the complexity of the docs, and the lion guards and statue remain. It is placed well into the jungle, and not very often visited. Fresh excavations are being done on a hospital temple nearby.
This photo is taken at nearing the end of the peak of green season, when the sun getting stronger and the wet spell are fewer. The green season in visible in how green vegetation and moss are covering and highlighting the remains of buildings, stairs and docks. The area in between is more neutral.
For most visitors, photogs or not, some downpours are good when visiting an area filled with natural and cultural marvels like the Angkor Park:

Last thing we did in the creativity group was working with polymer clay.
This stuff is a pretty stiff matter, not really fun to work with.
The group leader picked some set of tiny pieces in absolutely random colours, so I had to mix multiple to have enough to sculpt. Luckily there were 3 that would work together.

I could have done pendants or whatever, but just had to sculpt a dragon. :D
I'm a great fan of the dragons and other sculptures is sculpting, so I wanted to do my own little thing with what we got.
People in our group told me I got a good feeling for proportions. :3

So this is what it looks like after baking it for about 1 1/3 hrs. It's a bit darker than before.
Then length is about 13cm.

Anguish ... for
This by sculptor Heinrich Apel is called "Mother and child". Apel's can be found all over . Another of his works is the quirky bird door handle of the Cathedral which I posted a while ago. You can find this statue in front of (St. John's church) in Magdeburg.

Maybe you remember that there was a car attack on Magdeburg's Christmas market last December, killing 6 people and injuring hundreds of others. This happened only a stone's throw from the church, and, as you may see here, there are still flowers, candles, and messages to remember the victims. (I took this photo in April, but they are still there)

'Far med brn' (Dad with children), great work by Pontus Kjerrman, at Silkeborg Bad

I love this bird sculpture tucked away round the back of the Renfield Saint Stephen's Church on Bath Street in Glasgow. I wonder how many people pass it every day as they walk along Holland Street and don't even realise it's there.

Decided to add some metallic card and paper for display purposes and to create reflections

Humphry (the cat statue) and a tiling and hexagons and equilateral triangles, Alf Barrett playground, Old Gloucester St, London, England

My experience echoes this writers
A while back, wandering around Bloomsbury on a sunny afternoon, I came across this sculpture in a childrens playground. The plinth gave the cats name as Humphry, and the artist as Marcia Debra Solway. I looked about wondering if there was more information about why he was there, took a couple more photos, and made a mental note to look into it later.

but the writer did the research for me:
'... on Flickr MARCIA SOLWAY was my daughter, she made this sculpture of HUMPHRY. He was the resident cat for 18 years at the Mary Ward Centre in Queen Square WCI...MARCIA suffered with EPILEPSY ...she died aged 34 years August 1992, the same year as HUMPHRY. MARCIA lived in Rosebery Ave ECI, she was an ardent cat lover'
