Not a true , but I wanted to make a post about this place that blew me away.
There's an amazing 42-acre sculpture garden in Hamilton, NJ that houses an ever-changing collection of art, horticulture, and sculpture, some of which are MASSIVE.
This year they're hosting their third and final light show "Night Forms", going until April 7th!
Spending the entire day here still wasn't enough to see everything.

Sharing more sculptwork. These are the vampires we made from The Nightmare Before Christmas for Disneyland's Mickey's Halloween Party's Frightfully Fun Parade.
Here is some of the projects I am working on. The Tiki Mug is Nintendo game Controller themed. Sculpted Shot glasses that stack like a totem. They are all characters from premium edition games. I also have my Oswald The Lucky Rabbit, he has more to him. I will do another post on Oswald with the rest of his sculpted scene. #

Two computers facing each other. A slight crackle. And a heavy silence. The computers are covered in soot. A cable connecting them. A chain of rust, barbed wire and ash. An ethernet cable after all. Blocks of raw metal are attached to this chain, to this cable. Across the cable, a silent war, invisible if the screens of these two computers were not a graphic representation of the high-frequency trading they are waging against each other.

Robot project update. I guess you will recognize which character is being robotized here.
Don't mind the color of the ear tips, it's just a temporary indicator.
Love this relief sculpture on the Dennistoun Infant School building in Glasgow.
After a long time I finally got to mount my ceramic sculpture of Niumue, the Lady of the Lake from Arthurian legend.
My idea was that a fairy that lived beneath the waters of a lake would probably be ephemeral, wave like so I used the spiral structure much like Dali's image of Gaia.
Problem was that the spiral broke and no glue could hold the weight so I fashioned a central support column to support the weight
There are no fewer than 12 replicas of the Statue of Liberty in France. This particular one is a 1/16th scale model, and was built by Frdric August Bartholdi, who designed the original for New York. He created this version for the Exposition Universelle of 1900, and it now lives in the
Muse d'Orsay in Paris.
I love this animal sculpture on the former Whiteinch Public Baths in Glasgow. It's one of a pair surrounding the city's coat of arms, and I presume it's an otter or a seal. The whiskers are especially good.

Snowy Mountains' beloved Big Trout to get second makeover in a matter of months due to 'wrong' colours
By Isla Evans
One of Australia's beloved 'big things' was given a new lick of paint for its 50th birthday, but locals say the Big Trout's new colour scheme needs to go.

In the grounds of the country manor where what I worked last week, saw this beautiful willow sculpture of a hare. I think I met the artist but can't remember her name!
Edit: artist's name is Michelle Cain, she has a studio in Cardigan, West Wales
Thank you :)
This was my least favorite pick for "pop culture" appearances of Auriga... bc these eyes... they're haunting!

Sie war eine Seerose.
Oder der Blick einer Katze.
Schlfrig trieb sie auf dem Wasser.
Ungewitter spiegelten sie. Nicht der blaue Himmel.
Eines Tages wrde er zu ihr reisen.
Aber sie nahm Gestalt an.
Klopfte an der Tr.
Eine kleine Katze unter dem Arm.
Eine Rose in der Hand.
Blut an den Fingerspitzen, den baren Fen.
Hier bist du, sagte sie.

She was a water lily.
Or the gaze of a cat.
She floated sleepily on the water.
Thunderstorms reflected her. Not the blue sky.
One day he would travel to her.
But she took shape.
Knocked on the door.
A kitten under her arm.
A rose in her hand.
Blood on her fingertips, her bare feet.
Here you are, she said.

Very moved by this little book I remember: Scotlands Covid Memorial by Alec Finlay, George Logan & Roxani Krystalli, just published by Morning Star/Stewed Rhubarb.
A living project about support, about kindness, and about honouring those who have died as well as those left behindbereaved or still very ill or sometimes both.

Please tell me I can salvage blocks I never got to use but I opened years ago.
I just unearthed a box with two small blocks and a bunch of tools. I wanted to sculpt little things but never got around to it, due to lack of space.
I dug a fingernail into one and it left a mark.
This detail on the streets of , a simple movement, the candelabra moved by the sheer force of the wind, proved to be a rather comforting disturbance in stark contrast to the serene resolute permanence of the Parrquia de la Santssima Creu.

Sculptures of Love (top), Faith (lower left) and Hope (lower right) on the 1899 Art Nouveau style hall of Saint Andrew's East Church on Alexandra Parade in Glasgow. Between the three figures is an inscription which says "Greatest of these is love", a sentiment that's as true today as it was when it was carved.
