 Lintention est galement de transposer mes recherches dans un espace qui critique et analyse la faon dont nous duquons la socit travers les muses et lexposition musale, larchivage, et les pratiques lies ce type particulier denseignement et son acceptation inhrente, son ton, ses prjugs, ses suppositions et ses limitations.

Another of the rather wonderful decorative carvings on the support of a tenement oriel window on Saracen Street in Glasgow. This is from the same tenement as the one I featured a few days ago.

In his bursting bonsai sculptures, Patrick Bergsma taps into nature and the deep-rooted history of porcelain.

It's from an Etsy seller (greekartshop1), and it is cast marble. The figure is based on the famous one by Luciano Garbati.

A glorious addition to my home office. :D

The 110-ton elliptical sculpture is forged of a seamless series of highly polished stainless steel plates, which reflect Chicagos famous skyline and the clouds above. P.S. Nobody calls it Cloud Gate. Its The Bean.

Five years ago today. at St Margaret's , and one of Andy Goldsworthy's project. This one is at , near , and dates from 1996.

S/He sets to work, fashioning beings of light and energy, imbued with consciousness. These creations are companions, friends, and fellow explorers of the sublime.

Love this beautiful little walrus I came across on a gate in the west end of Glasgow today.

When in London in March, I went to the Donatello exhibition at the V&A. I rarely take pictures of paintings since one can rarely add anything. But sculptures are different. And so I took some pictures.

Love this decorative carving under a tenement oriel window on Saracen Street in Glasgow. I've seen flowers and plants carved on such supports elsewhere, but never such wonderful creatures.
