Monogram on the Glasgow Style warehouse on the corner of Glassford Street and Wilson Street in Glasgow. Built in 1908, it was designed by Robertson and Dobbie for Gordon Brothers. The monogram is that of W.P. Gordon, and I particularly like the dragons ans the greenman at its base.

Yeah, I am miles away away, but a small group show I am in opened to the public in Miami 20 minutes ago. It will be open till 5 tonight and during gallery hours after that.

SculptureI love these weird ceramic creations that Jon Sung has on his Etsy page. The brightly colored tardigrades and handmade Star Trek sculptures are cute, but I really love his "Fruit friend" characters, which are ceramic figures you can store a piece of fruit on.

Sometimes I don't get started with a project because the beginning is so complicated. These owl armatures are difficult to get right. The talons need to be just the right length and each foot needs to match the other. The balance between the knees and the hips needs to be correct because eventually these flimsy wires need to support the whole bird. These are important details never thought about because hopefully you won't notice in the final result.

Well, well its de-molding time. Always exciting! How did the seems from the different pouring stages come out, are there air pockets or a lot bubbles. And some nice shots like a ruin in a snowstorm.
