The bench is very inviting. Pedestrians often stop to rest or take a selfie with Genevieve. She sits outside of a bookstore, at the corner of Washington St and Chicago Ave in .

Genevieve's statue has been here many years, but Naperville is known for its wide variety of displays, which are changed out frequently. The artist is Pamela Carpenter of nearby Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
