Alien snake progress in MagicaCSG

The platform will become the bottom of a cylindrical glass container.

MagicaCSG is particularly suitable for hard-surface modeling, as Booleans are a core tool, and with the SDF approach you never have to worry if fillets / chamfers are going to work out, like they can often fail in NURBS 3D editors.

Aaaaaand little Sydney's all done

Started a new scene. I love that 3D editor so much. The SDF (Signed Distance Fields) approach gives you total modeling freedom, without worrying about polygon structures, edge flow, etc..

The screenshot shows part of a snake-like alien, existing of two curves. The mouth curve is Boolean-subtracted in real-time, including auto-filleted edges everywhere.

Whimsical Street Art Catches Everyone Off Guard and Delights Downtown Boston at 16 Locations

It's a giant face in Sydney International Airport designed to lure you into the expensive store.

When it turned and stared at me I had a wee moment of, "Eek!"

One of two Atlantes created by John Mossman for the facade of the Saint Andrew's Halls on Granville Street in Glasgow. The halls opened in 1877, but burned down in 1962. While the rest of the building was lost, the facade, with its collection of grand sculptures, was saved and was later incorporated into an extension for the Mitchell Library.

35/365 "Old Guard"
spotted at the base of an old street light downtown, I'm definitely a sucker for and make no apologies he's just got a quality of "relax, I've been doing my job for decades now, I got the hang of it" self-assuredness that I aspire to (combined with having clearly seen his share of years of weather)
