After a good few months of world-class procrastination, I've finally got the 'This Is My Glasgow' online shop up and running, where I'll be selling things like calendars, cards and prints of some of my favourite photos from Glasgow, and a few other things besides.
To start of with, there's only prints available, like this collage of some of the city's finest architectural sculptures, but I'll be adding more things over the next week or so.

The Groer Doppelkopf (Great Double Head) is a striking work of art in public space and a landmark of Traben-Trarbach. The sandstone sculpture symbolizes the two districts of Traben and Trarbach. It is 6.60 meters high, weighs about 15 tons, and was created by sculptor Jrgen Waxweiler.

Llotja de la Seda. ValnciaCargo a concrete lamp/light sculpture in the shape of a container ship. This piece consists of ten different parts the ships hull, a wheelhouse and eight containers. The deck of the ship is divided into four equal sections on which each you can place the wheelhouse or two containers next to each other.
This gives endless possibilities in the appearance and light effects the ship creates.
I love this relief sculpture on the old Anderson College of Medicine Building on Dumbarton Road in Glasgow. Created by James Pittendrigh MacGillivary, it's thought to show Peter Lowe, a 16th Century physician who founded what is now Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, demonstrating a medical examination to a group of students.

35 years ago, Jim Sanborn presented the cryptographic sculpture Kryptos to the Central Intelligence Agency in Langley, Virginia. Made from copper, granite, quartz and petrified wood, it has four sections, each of which holds a message in code. Over the years, three of the sections have been solved by CIA code breakers, a California computer scientist, and the National Security Agency. Now, 79-year-old Sanborn says he's going to auction off the solution to the final message, with the company arranging the sale estimating a winning bid between $300,000 and $500,000.
