I've been having a lot of fun lately. Here are some glimpses from the Villa Borghese in Rome.

Industry: one of a number of large bronze statues created by Paul Montford for the 1919 Kelvin Way Bridge in the West End of Glasgow

Fr ART AND THE CITY im Sommer 2012 entwarfen Los Carpinteros ein monumentales Kunstwerk aus Backsteinen.
Die Formen erinnert an Aufsteck-Elemente fr Akkuschrauber, sogenannte bits. Die Knstler verstehen diese als Hommage an die industrielle Vergangenheit von Zrich-West.
"Towers" war eines der meistfotografierten Kunstwerke der Ausstellung. Diese Begeisterung des breiten Publikums wurde auch von den Verantwortlichen der Walter A. Bechtler-Stiftung geteilt, sodass die Kunststiftung drei Einzelskulpturen erworben und der Stadt Zrich als Leihgabe zur Verfgung gestellt hat.
Aufgrund dieses Ankaufs haben sich die Knstler entschieden, die restlichen Skulpturen ebenfalls am Escher-Wyss-Platz stehen zu lassen, sodass das Ensemble zusammenbleibt.

Brief: Ralisation d'une affiche dans le cadre de l'exposition "Jules Jourdain".
Jules Jourdain est un sculpteur-mdailleur n Namur et qui a (notamment) ralis le monument aux morts qui se trouve au pied de la citadelle.
J'ai test diffrentes choses, diffrents styles... Et petit petit, je me suis lche.

Several busts of Roman emperors are preserved in the Capitoline Museums in . On the back of one of them, someone has written:

'In this place, Cardinal Lata told me, to my great displeasure, that I had a crooked nose on the 29th of July 1832.'

Love the Green Men on the corbels of this upper floor window on the West Regent Street facade of the 1898 Castle Chambers in central Glasgow. There's really no functional reason for them to be there, but they help make the building so much more interesting to look at.

The "Bonner Brckenmnnchen" (Bridge man) is a stone sculpture that was attached to the right-hand tower of the Beueler bridge, directly above the pedestrian passageway, when Bonn's first Rhine bridge was built in 1898. The background to this was that the bridge was financed exclusively by Bonn residents because the inhabitants of schl Sick (wrong side/Beuel) did not want to contribute to the costs.
The people of Beuel returned the favour with a sculpture of a nagging washerwoman, which was attached to the left-hand tower of the Beuel river pier. It depicts a woman with a fierce look and a raised slipper in her hand, ready to throw. What a great sense of humour!

A by William Lasdun in the grounds of some Royal Sussex County Hospital buildings next door to Swimming School on Eastern Road. Called Isis, it seems to depict her in kite form, with a bird-like head and ridges down the right flank as if one wing is wrapped round her body. The sculpture is dated 24 July 2000.

Van heden tot maandag 23 juni 2025 zijn twee van mijn kunstwerken te zien bij de gezamenlijke expositie Samenspel in het gemeentehuis van Lisse in Nederland.
Verschillende kunstenaars van de kunstvereniging hebben vanuit een eigen interpretatie een kunstwerk gemaakt, denk aan: samenspel van kleuren, samenspel van muziek, samenspel van kinderen.
Uiteraard heb samenspel vrij letterlijk genomen en gekoppeld aan spelende kinderen. Passend bij mijn rol als moeder en werk in het onderwijs.
Dit 3D beeld van twee knikkerende kinderen is n van mijn kunstwerken die te zien is in het gemeentehuis van Lisse.
From today until Monday 23 June 2025, two of my works of art can be seen at the joint exhibition 'Samenspel' in the town hall of Lisse in the Netherlands.
Various artists from the art association have created a work of art based on their own interpretation, such as: interplay of colours, interplay of music, interplay of children.
Of course, I took 'samenspel' quite literally and linked it to playing children. Fitting in with my role as a mother and work in education.
This 3D image of two children playing marbles is one of my works of art that can be seen in the town hall of Lisse.

Normally I can't get it to look right using the flat of the wood as a facing. I normally use the edge of the block. But this one worked. Right Right

Je vous souhaite bonne journe en compagnie de ma Royale. Comme chez le paradoxalement nomm Grand-Duc d'Amrique, la femelle Pygargue tte blanche est plus grande que le mle, d'o le nom fminin. Rendons Csare ce qui revient Csare.

Wiki:
Les femelles sont 25 % plus grandes que les mles. Aussi l'envergure maximale de l'oiseau varie de 179 cm pour le mle 243 pour la femelle. De mme, cette dernire pse environ 5,8 kg et le mle 4,1.

Et donc je fais aussi des petits machins qui bougent
