How's this for a nameplate It's for Atlantic Chambers on Hope Street in Glasgow. Sculpted in 1899 by McGilvray and Ferris, it features the figures of Columbia (left) and Britannia (right) at the bottom and a winged figure above a sailing ship at the top.
In Windsor Shopping Centre/Railway station we saw this glorious 'Steampunk' sculpture of a bull. He is magnificent!
There was no plaque nearby giving any information about the very talented artist who made him, why he is tucked away in a fairly inconspicuous position, or why he appears to have been dehorned at some point. Google has not been forthcoming with any information.
Does anyone know anything about him
If he is unwanted, we would love to have him in our garden & would give him pride of place!

Another Christmas decoration for my sister when she moved in to her . I sent it to her in pieces and didn't tell her what it all was. (I also sent her a photo with each of the disks under different sized coffee mugs as a misleading bit of entertainment. )

Kicking off next month at MAKE Southwest, a group exhibition titled 'PULP' celebrates the possibilities of paper in all its forms, from quilled flowers to figurative sculptures to playful miniatures.
This was a commission for It was made in likeness of another sculpture I made previously and the commissioner liked it so much and honestly I really liked the idea of making something similar again

Sculpture ShowcaseI've added a very special piece to my ko-fi shop: "Rebirth". This was a commission created in ritual for someone several months back who never came to pick it up. It's well beyond the grace period, and my several attempts to reach them have been unsuccessful. Since it was not paid for, yet, I'm looking to rehome this beautiful, powerful piece and recoup some of the cost of my time.
This piece belongs to someone who needs it: it has been on my altar, charged each time I've reset it, for months now, and it's meant to bring the holder strength in healing. The intention is specifically for healing through physical trauma or injury, but would undoubtedly be successful for psychological or spiritual healing as well. Like any other talisman, totem, or charm, it's capable of being re-charged and reset to your specific circumstance.
I've included some of the shipping cost in the pricing of this, but if you're international and this speaks to you please let me know so I can look up estimates and customs fees for your location and see if a price or shipping cost adjustment is necessary. I'd like to make this as accessible as possible, but without severely undervaluing the work that's here.
