Basils visiting the strange open air art gallery called Les Vivres de lArt in the Bacalan neighbourhood of Bordeaux in France .
Brown Bears Big Day Out is a story about a bear in a zoo that puts on a disguise so that he can escape and visit a funfair called Dizzyland. Its about looking at people in depth and not being afraid because they look different from you. So Basil looks like a man when disguised but is still the same friendly and hero bear in this case once his disguise slips.
The story contains illustrations throughout the text. These are then repeated at the back of the printed book so that younger children can colour them in. One of them can be seen below.

Il reste 1 place pour ce stage d't Mareuil-la-Motte sur le thme animalier. Faites une pause estivale du 17 au 20 juillet dans un magnifique village rural au cur de la Picardie. Un moment de cration et d'panouissement, les mains dans l'argile, au sein d'un petit groupe convivial de 8 personnes.
Tous les niveaux sont bienvenus, j'adapte ma pdagogie chaque projet.

Pretty big difference from the last post in this piece. But I've never done progess shots and do not think about them at all while working.
This was the final wiring test. Power will come up through the feet so that there are no wires attached to the piece. Nix's base will supply 48vdc. That comes up to a small buck to to drop it to 12vdc (6a). From there it splits to a 5vdc 5a for the vid player, the screen and speaker. The 12v also feed the body lights.
This point in any piece is one that I approach with pride, confidence, and fear. Along the way I'm always thinking this is the route and the wiring. I test all components prior in the final config then it all gets cut, spliced, feed in its route, all that. So by the time I get here I'm sure I did it right, I'm excited to see it come to life. And I am terrified something will be completely fucked up.
I'll do some more aging/wash/texture tonight. Tomorrow the feet get their magnets, final wiring, paint, etc. The base wil also get completed. This weekend full shots and pack it up for next week.
