Parmi les oeuvres les plus particulires, on peut certainement compter cette sculpture d'Olivier Strebelle, celui-l mme qui tait l'origine du schma directeur de la rnovation de la place Saint-Lambert Lige (les ligeois se rappelleront et chacun a son avis sur la question). Cette vocation des quatre fils Aymon sur le cheval Bayard trne depuis plus de 65 ans Namur au bord de la Meuse. L'oeuvre avait connu une premire carrire l'Expo 58 Bruxelles.
Qu'on aime ou pas, elle ne laisse pas indiffrente mais ce qui est sr, c'est un emblme de la capitale wallonne!
That sculpture by Olivier Strebelle, the same who was at the origin of the master plan for the renovation of Place Saint-Lambert in Lige (the people of Lige will remember and everyone has his opinion on the matter), can be counted among the most particular in the country. This evocation of the four Aymon sons on the Bayard horse stands since more than 65 years in Namur on the banks of the Meuse. The work had a first career at Expo 58 in Brussels.
Whether we like it or not, it does not leave indifferent but it is a landmark of the Walloon regional capital.
