There's a really incredible installation outside of the entrance to the shopping mall downtown, a whale made of pieces of plastic garbage found on the beach

Out in the preeclipse sunshine visiting Malin, Austin's new troll resident. She's marvelous!

Thats the nicest public space I have ever seen

A little video of the 3D Cobalt Eclipse Sunset piece I made yesterday. It's all aged in an bright now. I love how the eclipse really lights its surroundings differently depending on what side they are on.

Walking around it plays tricks on your eyes as the tubes cross each other.

My head is swimming with other iterations I wanna make, but this is probably the last one I will make for a few weeks- travel coming up!

I made a Snail Biker! So I had to do a garden based photoshoot. Sculpey some wire and acrylic paint.

Started a new MagicaCSG project. Here's a first impression. New updates will follow.

If you like my posts, a coffee would be much appreciated, and grants you access to a gallery filled with works in progress + info.

Wooden seated Buddha (Joseon Dynasty 13921894, H. 94.0 cm)

Not me grinning ear to ear! I spent all day today making a nice color version of the 3D Sun and woah its working!

Headed to Dallas, on Sunday and was gonna drop this off at a studio in Fort Worth for their fundraiser auction, but I think its too big for a carry on.

I will admit- its not as round as perfect as I want, but definitely getting there!

Excited to see it age in fully- should be nice an bright.

Here is a great article by garden writer Mary Roach (author of "A Way to Garden") on ceramics in gardens. Specifically the work of Vermont artist Stephen Procter who makes these heroically scaled ceramic vessels for outdoor use.
