Cant help but think the (older, but also some more recent) sculptures at Grizedale are without parallel:
Theyre permanent (until they fall apart, unless removed because of elf n safety or commercial logging considerations), often site-specific, using local materials, sometimes hard to get to and find, and by trained artists who were on residencies in the area at the time. The result is dozens of pieces of work that are enchanting and fun to visit.
Is there anywhere else quite like Grizedale
I can think of places in the UK and Finland which tick some but definitely not all of the boxes above.
One from yesterday - this is Habitat (1994) by Richard Caink. No longer listed on the official maps, its in good condition and a pleasure to visit.
I enjoyed the smiley old-fashioned television (as did the toddler sitting on my back). It depicts the Green Man.

The view through the window was at one point of a small hillock nearby, now it is just plantation trees.

Here's a new sculpture idea. The six pieces of this chair were laser cut with M1 Ultra from 6mm basswood plywood then glued together with wood glue. It will sit on an 8" base. I haven't determined how tall the base will be. The chair will be painted several colors. More to come.The wonderfully ornate sculptures above the entrance to 75 Bothwell Street in central Glasgow. It was built around 1890 and was home to the Glasgow Weekly Mail, a penny weekly newspaper. Amongst other things, this newspaper featured much of the work of Marion (Mirren) Bernstein, a Glasgow-based poet whose work in the 1870s highlighted issues facing women and the need for women's rights.

It was meant to be an upside down cast of a hilltop made in wood.
I remember visiting this with my family and grandparents as a kid and being taken with how huge it seemed.

The finished puppet head that I've been building for about 2 months now.
There is some differences between the original clay sculpture and concept character designs since I was experimenting throughout the creative process but I think the puppet head came out okay.
It's definitely Spitting Image caricature inspired.
