A controversial sculpture that sparked complaints about its cost and design arrives in Mount Gambier to a positive reception.

Kitsune

This little fella is a cute little creation belonging to Zephyr.
I found the skull mask idea really fun to do as it was made to be detachable from the face implementing magnets. that way the fella could have a look without it. :)

Green season morning in Angkor Park
Prasat Top Khang Kaeut (Eastern Prasat Top) temple is a small Hindu temple with several images of the Hindu God Vishnu. The temple is mostly unvisited and very peaceful. The vegetation makes for some stunning photo opportunities during the green season.
The vegetation has taken over most of the surroundings. During green season it gets extraordinary for photos, with deep, green moss and fresh green all around the still very visible temple.
Religious tolerance in the Khmer Empire
Top Khang Kaeut was built during the reign of Jayavarman VII, the great Buddhist god king, and was initiated in 1295CE. It was dedicated in honour of Mangalartha, a son of a Hindu Brahmin priest/guru kept in high regard by the great king. That gives a glimpse into the religious tolerance and transformation of the Empire into Buddhism as the main religion.
This is the last significant Hindu Temple built in the Khmer Empire before the major change to Buddhism as state religion.
Pleasant green season
The Green season in Cambodia starts in June/July and reaches its peak in September/October. To visit during this time period are among the best time slots to enjoy modern Cambodia.
The afternoon rainfalls are short, and they freshen up the air and chills the temperature. And they make everything grow healthy green.

Sculpture and installation by London-based Polish artist Rafa Zajko, 2020s, whose practice centers around the industrial past, exploring its environmental impact in relation to working class heritage and queer identities.

Nicsadika has some amazing small sculptures over on DeviantArt.

So many beautiful orcas, other animals, and... several amazing Anubis jackal form pieces.

In fact, the vibe I get is that some of them are "evolutions" of the jackal la Evee's many evolutions in Pokmon.

This one simple one though... really gives me whippet breed vibes. Especially the dainty lithe legs ending without feet of this one.

Added a new item to my booth. A simple wooden mobile() comprised of hand braided dyed jute cord and blocks. I wanted to create something fun and bright.

Emergence (I) - Emergence is the first in a series of sculptural stoneware ceramic vases that look at ideas of origin and emergence - using an egg like form to symbolise birth from the earth.
Hssleholm, one of many Swedish towns that grew up around the railways in the mid 19'th century. It's now a major railway hub in northern Scania.

- Two pics of the railway station.
- Possibly the cutest escalator in the universe. :)

The four oldest of Glasgow's thirteen Tontine Heads. Sculpted by David and James Cation between 1737 and 1742, they originally adorned keystones of arches in Allan Dreghorn's Town Hall at Glasgow Cross. For some reason, the top left one always reminds me of Robbie Coltrane as Danny in the 1980s TV series Tutti Frutti. I think it's the hair.

I love this Art Nouveau style relief sculpture on one of the buildings of the old Lambhill Street School in the Kinning Park area of the city.

Hi erveryone
this is RiG! RiG stands on four tapered inox legs holding up a light module.
RiG feeds the module with power throug white silicone wires. Power that RiG got from a black power cable with cord switch. When turned on RiG will brighten your day, or anyway the surface RiG stands on.

Slightly different photo of the same sculpture I posted earlier, Reflection Point, only with some tinkering and color. I always like the contrast and details that come out in black-and-white, but sometimes color is so lovely
