Homeless Jesus statue on Nelson Mandela Place in Glasgow. Created by Timothy Schmalz and installed in 2017, it's one of more than a hundred similar statues by the same artist around the world. While the Glasgow one was the first in the UK, the original can be found outside Regis College in Toronto, Canada.
I've been making some progress on creating a more interesting background for my video calls. My hope is to swap out the drawings/paintings on the black part periodically with art that I make but don't like enough to frame.

I love this ornately sculpted door surround for 75 Bothwell Street in Glasgow. Dating from the 1890s, the building was originally constructed for the Weekly Mail.

Painted murals will constitute a large part of this project, alongside sculptural murals in concrete, brick, wood, stone, tile and other materials"
A great initiative from
Medallions of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert on the 1871 Albert Bridge between Saltmarket and Laurieston Drive in Glasgow. They were created by George Edwin Ewing and are positioned in such a way that they're looking towards each other from opposite sides of the Clyde. Originally, Queen Victoria's crown would have been gilded, but over time this has weathered away.
