a c'tait mon kiosque la fds dernire. Nous tions 2 sculpteurs sur 60 artistes. Les autres taient pour les murs. Au Qubec, les arts visuels se rsument souvent une toile. Je crois il y a place plus d'ouverture. Je me suis fait demander quoi a sert mes affaires j'ai dit: rien. La personne est partie. a ne m'offusque pas... Beaucoup de gens m'ont dit tre trs surpris de mon art. Je suis heureuse d'tre tomb dans le ct 3D du bol de l'art.

BronzeWowza! The nickel, sulfur color pot was amazing! I believe Mike nailed the density I was looking for even with just one dip of sandwiched between two clear dips of glass, its dense enough where the tube looks black without a phosphor backing or light shining through it.
The personal dark color pot is also amazing for recycling- I could throw my bits of color in the crack off bin (shedding off the cooling blowpipes) back in the furnace before dinner to have fully melted, streaky swirly glass after dinner! I saved most of the dense brown glass cleaning out the pot at the end of the night as color bars- the typical way we buy it
I have another 50 pounds of base- and well over a hundred, 5 foot tubes. The lighter tan color tubes have silver in them. Mike mentioned silver nitrate may be needed for those. I wonder how much I would need for 50 pounds and if it would be safe to melt
I pulled a flawless 50 footer today!

A rather wonderful new wooden sculpture beside a pond in Cairnhill Woods just off the Switchback on the outskirts of Glasgow. With some of the original sculptures, which were done a whole ago, gradually rotting away, it's great to see new ones being added to replace them.

I found it! Here I was taking the photo, so I'm not in it, but I did pour my pieces' brass that same day on that spot wearing that gear.

No homa is always nice fire (think moisture). At some point, we added a food item called "pancha kajjaaya" Kannada to the fire which caused much smoke. Teary eyes and coughs ensued, but everything smelled good.
(We added about 36 bowls of pancha kajjaaya to the fire.)
After the homa, we offered "puje" (service) to a clay idol of Ganesha. The puje was simple not elaborate as it tends to be in the "plains" part of Karnataka.

On 3 May 1924, Octave Rotsaert exhibited his plaster sculpture PAX in Paris: two monks exchanging the kiss of peace. For this work, he received an honourable mention with distinction. Doctor De Winter was so impressed that he urged Rotsaert to have it cast in bronze. In 1947, the sculpture was installed in Bruges.

Now the collab is with termites. They had tunneled the handle of an abandoned shovel (and left long before I found it), so I sliced it to reveal the structure.
I still haven't figured out how to display it.
This bear stands in our local library (Clarion, PA), and has for years.

In the 1840s, he also set up the popular Adelphi theatre on the edge of Glasgow Green, and managed to sell it shortly before it was destroyed in the inevitable fire which plagued theatres of the era. Despite being born in London and spending much of his life on the road, he chose to return to Glasgow shortly before his death, and it was here he was buried in 1873.
A bust of David Prince Miller, magician, fire-eater and all round entertainer, on his gravestone in the Necropolis in Glasgow. Born around 1809, Miller spent much of his life as a travelling entertainer. He is credited with creating the idea of reducing the works of Shakepeare down to the bearest essence, allowing him to perform plays like Richard III up to twenty times in just three hours.
