The Skelpies
These 10-metre/33ft stainless steel sculptures by Ayrshire sculptor John McKenna stand on the banks of the River Clyde in Coronation Park, Port Glasgow as tributes to local shipbuilders.
The two workers are wielding riveting hammers and if you look closely their multi-faceted bodies are beautifully riveted or welded together.
The design was chosen by a public poll.
Really excited about this neon Black Stallion Mini Pony I just made today.
I pulled some 8mm woods glass down to 5-7mm so it would fit my running mini pony pattern. Really trying to keep these extra tiny for the Utah mini gallery.
This one is filled with neon. the Woods blacklight glass tries to filter things to just blacklight wavelengths, but neon is so red/orange and bright through, making this interesting blacklight laden red wine color.
It really throws off bright blacklight when it is being bombarded. This is without any phosphor too- just glass n, ionized gas (air while bombarded) :).
I even gave it a black tubulation on the tail and painted out the electrodes so they wouldn't be too bright.
Still wanna make a Bluecifer.... and now I also wanna make an emerald horse filled with neon- one of my favorite "browns". Like this- its kind of two colors at once.

Sculpting in VR really adds a dimension to the tangibility of your creation. It's almost magical to actually see the depth of your model.
Exported the model to Blender for slight refinements, then added lighting, skin material and a little pore texture.
For this is the Saga Column in Norway. Designed by Wilhelm Rasmussen, this was originally supposed to be displayed in Oslo, but Wilhelm's political leanings were not the sort of thing the Norwegians wanted to celebrate, even if the artwork itself was lovely, so it was relocated to somewhere a bit more isolated.
