A noteworthy point, this is by the Pont de lAlma on the Seine river.
To the left of the sculpture, you can see a bit of the entrance to a road tunnel, that carries traffic underneath the exit from the Pont de lAlma. That is the tunnel where the fatal accident of Princess Diana occurred in April 1998.

Today's Flickr photo with the most hits: this Roman portrait bust, housed in the Archaeological Museum, Athens.
Love this projecting stained glass fanlight above the entrance to the Hat-Rack at 144 Saint Vincent Street in Glasgow. Designed in an Art Nouveau style by James Salmon Junior, it was built in 1899. I love the screaming goat's head below it, too!
When I was in Chicago giving a keynote, I took a nighttime stroll. I was captivated when I looked up at this giant sculpture. I knew I had to capture it.

I sculpted this spherical red octopus figurine using the polymer clay and tools (a cocktail stick/toothpick and craft knife) in the photo. I originally posted it to Instagram on the 30th April 2016. Watermarks have been added where previously there were none.

I bent and pumped one of the 5mm tubes I coated with warm white phosphor and another with pinky purple phosphor and by golly with Hg they get BRIGHT!
Two eating mini ponies, the warm white I added mercury to and the pinky purple I left with Argon (with a touch of Ne to help it turn on it cold weather). I am building out my mini herd to send westward to an outdoor mini gallery in Helper, Utah. Planning on putting them in an infinity mirror situation, so the brightness will be an asset here. Grazing neon ponies forever!
Never ceases to amaze me at how effective a tiny drop of mercury is in brightening up a tube. Next on the docket is a neon filled Black Stallion with blacklight glass, as well as a Cobalt blue and Ruby red "Bluecifer". I gotta get Ali to draw it rearing so it matches the Denver sculpture.
