Good session last night at the office.
Grant is pretty cheerful, gave him a very quick walk through the two gallery halls in the main building (Steve Jobs building) and he appreciated art from the last two shows (hoppers and Toy Story 5).
I thought I was going to struggle and leave early, but I made a decision to leave finger, tool, and slab marks. And then I got some unexpected help adjusting my armature from a more experienced sculptor, unblocking me.
Next week I have to work on legs and feet measurements specifically - they are slightly too long or the knee needs to come up. And the feet are just too big.

la place, Simon ORourke la transform en une main gante de 15 mtres, sculpte la trononneuse, comme si le tronc tentait une dernire fois de toucher le ciel.

Je suis content, l'aile droite est plutt bien partie. Quant l'aile gauche, elle risque de me faire quelques soucis l o j'ai du la recoller. Ne jamais vendre la plume de l'oiseau avant de l'avoir sculpte, c'est jamais gagn d'avance... Je compte plus le nombre de fois o un bec ou une patte s'est bris au dernier moment.

We were actually at the Royal Cast Collection to shoot photos of a battered plaster cast Jesus (more on which later). But I also checked in on various other heroes, kings, deities and mythical creatures  they seemed well!

I absolutely love this little owl on a Georgian townhouse on Saint Vincent Street in Glasgow. It was built in the 1830s, but the owl appears to be part of later alterations.

We finally put up the late Susan O'Toole's famine at An Sanctoir in Ballydehob.

155. Statues
Another shot from the Burrell Collection. I wanted the woman with children to be the main subject but include the man (blurred) too.
I like the composition, especially how it looks like the woman and children are looking at the man.
The denoising has made the man a little bit cartoonish but hopefully that's obscured enough by the blurring.
